Machine Operation Overview

The machine picks a pre-made stand up pouch from a magazine, opens it using suction cups or mechanical openers, and presents the opened pouch to the filling station. For applications requiring steam or gas flushing, an optional gas flush nozzle replaces ambient air inside the pouch before sealing.

Clear window stand up pouches allow product visibility and are handled with the same sealing parameters as opaque pouches.

Bag Size and Speed Specifications

Standard models accept pouch widths from eighty to two hundred fifty millimeters and completed pouch heights from one hundred to three hundred fifty millimeters. Output ranges from twenty to seventy pouches per minute depending on product flow characteristics. For high volume production, a rotary model with twelve or sixteen stations runs at eighty to one hundred twenty pouches per minute.

Sealing Quality and Integrity

Seal integrity is critical for stand up pouches, especially those containing liquids or oxygen sensitive products. Our machine uses a servo driven seal jaw with adjustable pressure, temperature, and dwell time. A cooling station follows the main seal, setting the seal while the pouch is still under pressure. This two step sealing process produces stronger seals with less distortion than single station designs.

For liquid stand up pouches, the machine includes an anti-drip nozzle that cuts product flow cleanly at the end of each fill cycle. A nozzle positioning servo raises the nozzle during filling to prevent splashing, then lowers it at the end of the fill to minimize tailing. An optional foil seal or induction sealing station can be added before the cap or spout application for complete leak protection.

Hygienic Construction
