This stand up pouch packaging machine solves the freshness problem with three features. The zipper closing mechanism engages the full length of the press to close zipper. The heat sealing system creates an airtight top seal above the zipper. The optional one way degassing valve allows coffee to release CO2 without letting oxygen in.
One Way Degassing Valve Option
For coffee roasters, the degassing valve is essential. Freshly roasted coffee releases carbon dioxide for days or weeks. If you seal the bag without a valve, pressure builds up and the bag bursts. If you leave the bag unsealed, oxygen ruins the flavor.
This doypack packing machine can be equipped with a valve applicator that attaches one way degassing valves to the pouch before filling. The valve lets CO2 escape while blocking oxygen from entering. Your coffee stays fresh longer and reaches customers in perfect condition.
